I don't play sports, can I still see a sports therapist or have a sports massage?
Yes of course! Overuse injuries can occur in everyday life and can also help with postural issues. Sports massage will also make you feel your best.

What is the cancelation policy?
Cancelling under 24hrs before appointment, you will be asked to pay 50% of the appointment value.
Cancelling under 2hrs before appointment or failure to attend to the appointment with no prior notice, you will be asked to pay 100% of the appointment value
Outstanding values will be recorded and must be paid prior to next appointment. Any repeat cancellations will be asked to pay a deposit prior to the appointment.

What should I wear?
Upper body - Male clients will need to remove their top before lying face down on the massage bed.

Female clients will also need to remove their tops but keep their bra on at all times before lying face down on the massage bed. Either you of the therapist can unclip/clip the bra before and immediately after the treatment.

Lower body - a pair of lose fitting shorts is fine to wear. underwear and shorts must always be worn. I do use towels to cover areas if clothing is not accessible.

Is a deep tissue massage painful?
There is a certain amount of pressure applied during a treatment session due to the techniques used. Yes, deep tissue massage can hurt during and after the massage, although some people experience no pain. Pain or discomfort is common for deep tissue massage, especially if you haven’t tried it before or if you have a lot of tension in the muscles. However, many find deep tissue massage uncomfortable or painful, most of those who go for deep tissue massage go again because they describe the pain as a “good hurt”.

Will I be sore or ache after a massage?
It is likely to feel soreness or aches after having a massage. You may feel slightly bruised the next day or have some bruises. This is the bodies natural reaction and is a good sign. Once you have had a few sessions you will feel less sore after. To prevent excess aches, we recommend drinking water to stay hydrated after the session.

Will I need multiple sessions?
All of our treatments work best with consistency and at the end of your session we will discuss when's best for you to book in next.

Is there free parking?
Yes! There is free parking right outside the clinic.
